Blog Progress Report For The Month Of March 2017
Now this blog is 3 months old, where has the time gone? I am still enjoying posting on the blog as much as I can. Three months kind of feels like a long time but then again it also has gone really quickly. I am really enjoying this and the community for sure! I really enjoy reading everyone’s comments on my posts and replying to them, it is really nice to see that my little blog has started to slowly take off and people are reading my content. I think that’s really awesome.
Take A Look At My Other Posts in March
Cold Hard Stats
Alright, lets take a look at the stats. I am only going to be using Google Analytics for this from now on as my AWstats are over run by bots (I believe) and this skews the total views to a much bigger website than it is.
March Stats – Google Analytics
Well March was a full month so I have no excuses here. Ok, so maybe one…. I didn’t comment on as many blogs as I have once before, but still, these results aren’t too bad. I managed 54.00 pageviews per day on average here which is on par with February where I was being a lot more active. The blog also was able to make a total of $2.56 AUD in the whole month of March, wooo go me. Typically, the website is making 1 or 2 cents per day which is still a nice added bonus for doing something I really enjoy.
March Sources – Google Analytics
As you can see, most of my visitors come from Referrals which I am not too bothered with at the moment. This is from me posting on other people’s blogs and replying to comments which is great as our Dividend Community is a real friendly one. I really hope I can increase the organic search and social links in the coming months, this can be achieved by creating great content which I hope to do very soon.
How did you go in March 2017?
Not bad BHL – if more consistent posting and more outreach, you’ll be bringing in more viewers in no time.
Have you still be using StumbleUpon? StumbleUpon stopped bringing in traffic for me.
Hey Erik. I hope to write some more posts very soon (when I get the time). Yes, I do use SU and have found it to be quite ineffective overall. Thanks.
I just started my site/blog in March, and i’m enjoying it so far. It’s definitely nice to share some of my thoughts with the world, although the traffic is coming slowly (but hey, at one month I think I’m doing alright).
Fantastic Troy. Keep up the good work and the good content and then the views will keep rolling in for sure! Good luck!
Nice results. $2.56 a day in display revenue is impressive considering your pageviews? What’s your page RPM?
Hi IH, I must have confused you, that is my monthly ad revenue, not per day. Not nearly as impressive, I know.
Thanks
BHL,
At three months in you are doing great. I could definitely learn a thing or two from your ability to drive traffic to your blog. I’m still struggling in that department.
Definitely being active and replying/making new comments is such an important way to keep those coming to your site. I have been more active in April and I have seen the increase in traffic already. Cheers
Looks like a great month for traffic. May not have been as active as last month but with a continuation of 50+ views a day that was your original goal so nice to stay on pace with it. And if I remember correctly from last month, looks like your organic search traffic has increased slightly so that’s good news. Keep it up!
Definitely would love to see that organic search traffic shoot up for sure! Hopefully this month can bring better things. Cheers
Every bit counts! Keep it up!

April should be pretty quiet but May has the possibility to be another huge month for me.
Hey BHL,
You don’t have to post this comment if you don’t want to. I have a similar theme on my sight. How do you get your featured images to come out perfectly without being cropped off? You can send me an email if you’d like.
Thanks.
Hey DP, I don’t use any fancy tricks on this. I just use the typical WP feature image. Sorry I can’t help.
no problem. Thanks BHL.
Great states. It’d be great if the graph were a bit bigger. I find it a little hard to see (probably because I’m near-sighted). Great job overall!
Thanks for the advice. I’ll see if i can enlarge it for next time. Cheers.
